King Og of Bashan left a bed thirteen and a half feet long, made of iron, on public display at the Ammonite capital. The Bible measured it. Deuteronomy 3:11 names the dimensions in plain text and tells the reader to go look for themselves. Roughly 1,400 years after the flood that was supposed to have ended his line.

Then it gets stranger.

Israelite spies sent into Canaan returned with reports of giants still inhabiting the territory. Three Philistine cities — Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod — were named in Joshua 11:22 as the surviving refuge of the Anakim remnant. Goliath came from Gath. So did at least three of the giants killed by David's men in later campaigns. The biblical record is consistent: the bloodline survived the flood. Then it kept ruling.

Egyptian pharaohs adopted the same claim. They did not say they were appointed by gods. They said they descended from gods. Specifically, from a divine bloodline that arrived from the sky and produced the first dynastic kings of Egypt. The hieroglyphic records call this the Shemsu Hor — the "Followers of Horus" — and date the bloodline back tens of thousands of years before any pharaoh recognized in standard Egyptology.

The Sumerian King List does the same. It records rulers reigning thousands of years each before "the flood swept over the land" and significantly shorter — but still impossibly long — reigns afterward. The kingship, according to the tablet, "descended from heaven."

"The flood was supposed to end this. Every ancient record we have insists it didn't."

The Pattern Across Civilizations

Strip out the theology and the timelines and the names, and the same structural claim recurs across geographically separated cultures with no shared origin point:

This is not what cultures do when they are competing for credibility. Convergent fabrication does not produce this much overlap. Either the claim emerged from a real ancestral memory of a hybrid founding population, or every literate civilization independently invented the same ruling-class biography.

📖 The Source Text

The Book of Enoch describes the Watchers — the two hundred celestial beings who descended on Mount Hermon, took human wives, and produced the giants. The original source for the entire post-flood bloodline question. Excluded from the Christian canon at the Council of Laodicea in 364 AD. Still scripture in Ethiopian Orthodoxy.

Then The Pattern Accelerates

Fast-forward through the medieval and early modern periods and the same bloodline-purity instinct reappears, this time without the divine framing — just the protocol.

The Habsburg dynasty of Austria, Spain, and the Holy Roman Empire married within its own bloodline for over six hundred years. Cousin marriages, uncle-niece marriages, repeated generation after generation, with deliberate exclusion of outside lineages. The result was Charles II of Spain, whose jaw deformities, infertility, and cognitive impairment are now considered a textbook case of inbreeding depression. The Habsburgs ran a controlled experiment in concentrated bloodline preservation. The biological cost was visible. The political payoff was retaining control of half of Europe for six centuries.

The Bourbons of France did the same. The royal houses of Britain and Russia interlocked through cousin marriages. The European aristocracy in the nineteenth century functioned as a single extended family — Queen Victoria's grandchildren ruled the major European thrones at the outbreak of World War I.

The Modern Thirteen

Researchers in the late twentieth century — Fritz Springmeier most prominently — identified what they called the thirteen ruling bloodlines: the Astor, Bundy, Collins, du Pont, Freeman, Kennedy, Li, Onassis, Reynolds, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Russell, and Van Duyn families. The list is contested. The methodology is debated. But the pattern it points at is documented elsewhere.

The Federal Reserve was created in 1913 at a private meeting on Jekyll Island. The attendees represented Rockefeller, Morgan, Warburg, and Kuhn-Loeb interests. The legislative architecture was drafted there before being introduced to Congress. The institutional concentration of monetary policy in those specific lineages is a matter of public record.

The City of London, the Vatican Bank, and the Federal Reserve operate as semi-sovereign financial entities. The board memberships, trustee appointments, and intermarriage records over the past century show repeated overlap among the same surnames.

This is not evidence of a metaphysical bloodline. It is evidence of an instinct toward bloodline concentration that has been preserved as a behavioral protocol — whether or not the people enacting it remember why.

The Question Most People Refuse to Ask

If the bloodline claim was pure mythology, the modern behavior would not match the ancient claim. But the behavior matches. The marriage records match. The institutional control matches. The deliberate concentration of capital, monarchy, and central banking inside a small set of interlocking families is documented in genealogical archives anyone can access.

You do not have to believe the giants of Bashan were eight feet tall to notice that the people who claim descent from them have spent four thousand years organizing their reproduction around the assumption that they are different.

Whether that difference is genetic, mythological, or purely sociological is the open question. The behavior is not in dispute.

History is not written by the victors. It is rewritten by the bloodlines.
