Hidden Epoch ("we," "us") runs hiddenepoch.com and an email list. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain.

What we collect

• Email address, when you request the free field guide or join the list.
• Purchase details, when you buy a product. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your email, name if provided, and order information. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data, through Google Analytics 4: pages visited, referring source, approximate region, and device type. This is used in aggregate to understand what content people find useful.

How we use it

• To send the field guide, our investigations, and occasional product offers.
• To deliver and support the products you buy.
• To measure which content and campaigns work, so we make better ones.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the site run: Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Google Analytics for measurement, and Netlify for hosting. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you are out.
• You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold. Contact us and we will act on it.
• You can block cookies in your browser. Analytics is not essential to using the site.

Regional rights

If you are in Canada, the United States, the UK, or the EU, you have rights over your data under CASL, CAN-SPAM, UK GDPR, or the GDPR. We honor consent, clear identification of the sender, and simple unsubscribe in every commercial email, and we act on access and deletion requests.
